Half day boat trip
No better way to explore Isola di San Pietro than by boat. The island hides many gems of beaches little bays and caves, but most of the coastline is inaccessible by land. From the center of Carloforte you can reach beaches like Guidi, Luccaise and Caletta by car, bike or bus. But if you want to visit the hidden bays, cliffs and caves and experience the authentic atmosphere of the island, you definitely need a boat.
On our half day boat trip around the island, a most experienced captain takes you along to disclose these places of incomparable beauty to you and introduce you to the history and traditions of our island, while we smoothly float along breathtaking scenery. Obviously, the experience wouldn’t be complete without the possibility to take a dive here and there, so we take time to swim and snorkel, for which we bring all necessary equipment.
Excursions in the island
The coastline of Isola di San Pietro is superb. But seaside is not the only attraction it has to offer.
The history of the island was influenced by both local inhabitants and many different foreign visitors and colonialists. These influences have determined and enriched the present day appearance of the island in a permanent way. Of this the typical language of the island, tabarchín, is only one example.

The hills offer stunningly beautiful over sea panoramas and abundantly rich flora and fauna and are easily accessible by foot and by mountain bike.
Your personal transport on the island
The Island of San Pietro doesn’t seem particularly big and considering its modest seize it’s easy to assume you will have crossed it from north to south and from east to west in only a few days. Once you have arrived you will find out, though, that without your own means of transport you will inevitably depend on the only local bus that is active on the island and that has a rather restricted time schedule.
We fully understand the need you have to feel free when on holiday. It’s only reasonable you want to decide when and where to go at your own convenience. For this reason, we put our transportation service at your disposal, so you can enjoy the beach of your choice at any time of the day as long as you want, without having to worry about how to get back to your hotel or apartement.
Our minivan can bring up to 8 people at a time to the requested beach at the requested time and pick you up once you’re ready. We offer a multiple-journey ticket entitles you to single journeys on the route selected. It is non-personal and therefore transferable. It can also be used for several passengers travelling together.
